DALZIEL 2ND XV v ANNAN 2ND XV.

On Saturday the 8th of October Annan 2XV men took 18 boys to Dalziel, after a few unexpected call offs the morning of match.

With good rugby weather the boys started the game off well with strong high intensity rugby.

Dalziel putting up a strong wall of defence with our boys putting in some strong runs and good effort to try and break the line they were unfortunately unsuccessful to make any try maker breaks.

After some hard hits, some of Annan men took a beating and having to come off pitch which led to Dalziel seizing opportunity to put points on the board.

Scott Muir with a strong kick was able to secure Annan’s only points of the game.

Final Score: Dalziel 42 v Annan 3

MOM for the 3rd weekend in a row was Aitken Render for some great tackles and non-stop effort through the whole game.

Special mention to all the Annan boys, they should be extremely proud of themselves for putting in a hard shift and not giving up fighting till last whistle.

Also the Dalziel boys for having great sportsmanship throughout the whole game.
