ARDROSSAN 2ND XV v ANNAN 2ND XV.

With a number of call ups to the 1^st XV and unavailability Annan 2^nd travelled to Ardrossan with 13 players where they played the home side who had similar numbers.

A thoroughly entertaining and high scoring game ensued with the more streetwise and experienced hosts running out deserved winners on the day.

The boys who travelled, many of whom have only recently started playing rugby gave their all and put together some good moves to score five tries during the game one of which was converted.

Scorers on the day were Aitken Render who scored a Hattrick, John McKay and Bradley James with his first try for club, with Finley McCartney adding the conversion.

Aitken Render being Annan’s deserved Man of the match for his efforts.

The lads have their first home match of the season next week after two trips on the road, when they entertain Strathaven 2^nd.
